Hello my name is Eduardo Buccianti.
There are plenty of things which I find
- Photography. I've been dabbling with it ever since my brother gave me his Nikon D80 back in 2010.
- Capoeira. Brazilian martial arts and music. I'm in a group called Malungos.
- Music. I've been playing guitar since I was 13. I also do recording and mixing as a hobby.
- Languages. I speak about four and a half languages... and I want to learn more!
- Activism. "If you think you're too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito." - Dalai Lama
- Science. These words are travelling to your eyeballs at 298,925,574 meters per second. So there.
I'm a graphic/web designer/developer.I'm originally from Brazil, but I studied in the USA before moving to Denmark, then Norway, then back to Denmark...
what some would call a "citizen of the world."
[ I live in Copenhagen and this is how I roll ]
Whether creating websites, logos or other branding products I always focus on clean, modern and usable design. From concept to finish I pride myself in always paying attention to the small details for a flawless overall product. I like to stay up-to-date with the newest technologies and latest trends, taking what works and discarding the rest. The most important thing is to never lose sight of the basics of good design.
I have a bachelor of arts degree in Digital Media and a minor in IT from the University of Central Florida. I have been developing for the web for over 15 years and working with graphics for even longer. Due to my multinational background I feel that I not only have an advantage in communicating with different types of people, but also in looking at problems from a different perspective and thus coming up with unique solutions.
Sweets by Norma
Norma is a confectioner in São Paulo, Brazil. As her business was growing, it was clear that Sweets by Norma's website and general image needed an overhaul. I started by redesigning the company's logo. While my hand was on the dough, as we say in Portuguese, I created various other images for the new website. I put it all together using WordPress, which expedited the whole process and makes it simple for Norma to update most things herself.View Project
Malungos is a capoeira group with units in various European countries as well as Brazil. In Denmark, it is one of the biggest groups. Working in a team with three others, I was tasked with re-designing and coding malungos.dk to make it more attractive and easier to use for both the instructors and visitors to the site. I decided to use Wordpress and after choosing a "theme" I went on to modify it quite a bit -- among other things to make the site 100% responsive and user-friendly across devices.View Project
Urubu is one of my music projects. I created the logo using Adobe Illustrator and developed the website using WordPress. Since Urubu's songs are quite varied I decided to keep the design simple so as to discourage any preconceived notions of the project. One aspect of the music that the website does reflect is the contrast between light and darkness.Currently offline
